12. Felsburglauf 2026

The Felsburglauf takes place in the stadium below the Felsburg in Felsberg on the last Sunday in August. This local running event offers short races for children and longer distances for adults, including 400 m, 1,000 m, 5 km, and a 10 km main race. The event has been a fixture on the town’s running calendar for many years, with a record 359 participants. The organization is club-led and practical: TSV Eintracht 1863 Felsberg organizes it with partner TSV Jahn Gensungen. The volunteer fire department, city building-yard staff, and public order office assist in securing the course. The race attracts participants of a wide age range, from very young children in the 400 m to older runners on the 5 km course. The route is licensed for the KSK-Schwalm-Eder-Cup, allowing runners to earn points for that series, and awards are presented across age categories.
