À propos de cette course
The Bergedorfer Citylauf sees over 3,000 runners pass through Bergedorf’s city center in Hamburg, with all races beginning and ending on Chrysanderstraße. Taking place in May and put on by TSG Bergedorf and the Bergedorfer Zeitung, it provides four distances: 5K, 10K, relay events, and races for children and young people. Approximately 5,000 spectators line the course, giving it the feel of a well-attended local race.
The route follows a rolling 1.6-mile loop. Urban 5 and Urban 10 participants ascend the “nordic hill” to HANSA-Gymnasium, where a school band and water station are located. The course also goes by the Schillerufer on the Bille river, Bergedorfer Schloss, and the Petri and Pauli church. After crossing the finish line, runners receive refreshments, with additional food provided by Café Chrysander and TSG youth groups, alongside activity stands, crafts, and the BCL tombola in the event area.
