24. Remmers-Hasetal-Marathon 2026

The Remmers-Hasetal-Marathon takes place on a summer evening in Löningen, Lower Saxony, with all races concluding at Kurt-Schmücker-Platz. The event offers multiple distances beyond the marathon: participants can select from 5k, 10k, half marathon, full marathon, or a marathon relay. Additionally, there is a 5k walk and a Nordic walk. The marathon is part of the Öffentliche Oldenburg Laufserie, with Remmers continuing as the main sponsor and naming partner. The primary course is a flat, single loop, suitable for novice distance runners and those aiming for a consistent pace. Organizers anticipate over 3,000 participants, assisted by more than 400 volunteers, with spectators lining the course. Children's and youth races are held concurrently with the adult events, and the age range for the main races is from 14 to 99. Now in its 24th edition, the race is a long-standing event for Löningen and the Hasetal region.
