29. Erzhäuser Heegbachlauf

The Erzhäuser Heegbachlauf is a race day in Erzhausen, featuring a flat 6.4 km main run, a walking event, and three short races for children. Younger runners can select the Urmel 500 m, Schüler -1 over 1.0 km, or Schüler -2 over 2.1 km. The event includes children, walkers, and adult runners in its programme. The route follows a Doppel-8 layout on flat field paths alongside the Heeg, with a single start and finish area for all races. Walkers, hobby runners, backward runners, ambitious athletes, and participants of various ages compete together. The event embraces this mix. Its call is “Start frei zur Doppel-8,” and finishers get a sponsored Kaltduscher cult clothing item.
