38. Porta Volkslauf 2026

The Porta-Volkslauf is a local road and trail running event held at the sports facility in Nammen, at Poggenbeeke. It is part of the Mühlenkreisserie, a popular regional race series. For over thirty years, it has been a fixture on the local running calendar, evolving from a small gathering of dedicated runners into an event for competitive racers, recreational runners, and participants of all ages. The course follows roads and field paths near the Nammer Sportplatz, then transitions to paved trails through the Nammer Unterholz nature reserve. The route is largely flat, offering open views toward the Porta and varied terrain that provides more than just a straightforward fast circuit. The motto, “Nammen läuft zusammen,” reflects the local spirit: the race emphasizes fair competition, personal record attempts, and the community associated with the club and village.
