À propos de cette course
Schnadegang Rund um Lüdenscheid is a 55 km trail race looping around Lüdenscheid in North Rhine-Westphalia. It begins and ends at the Lüdenscheid Nord commuter parking lot, sending runners counter-clockwise around the town with approximately 1,500 meters of elevation gain. The race is intentionally straightforward: public paths remain open, timing is manual, participation is limited, and the entry fee is modest.
The course follows the Rund um Lüdenscheid hiking trail, marked with continuous “L” symbols and supplemented by a GPX track provided by the organizer. Runners will encounter a varied terrain of forest trails, paths, and asphalt, with a single aid station midway and a 9 hour 30 minute cutoff. As the course utilizes public routes, participants must be mindful of traffic, cyclists, and pedestrians. With very few finishers, typically between twelve and twenty, it functions as a low-key local ultra challenge rather than a large-scale event.
