À propos de cette course
The Bergzeitfahren Altmühltalcup is a regional cycling competition in Bavaria’s Altmühl valley, consisting of four uphill time trials. The series begins in May. Riders start individually, competing against the clock instead of in a mass start. TSV Greding organizes the first climb in Hausen, and TSV Gaimersheim runs a short road time trial in Walting.
The racing is concentrated and steep. The Walting course covers 2.90 km with a 155-meter elevation gain. The route from Hausen to Kraftsbuch is noted as challenging. Eva Schien established a women’s record on the Hausen climb, where Tobias Häckl won the men’s event and also secured a prior victory. The youth categories attracted more participants, and entries increased by over twenty percent despite a concurrent Altmühltal cycling event.
