MainCityTriathlon

The MainCityTriathlon takes place around the Schweinfurt Baggersee recreation area in Lower Franconia, Bavaria. It is part of an endurance weekend in mid-May that also includes MainCityRun. The Running-Triathlon department of TG 48 Schweinfurt organizes the races, run by athletes for athletes. The program features S and M triathlon distances, with swimming, cycling, and running routes connected to Schweinfurt and its streets. A sprint-distance paratriathlon is also included, serving as both a Bavarian championship and a D-A-CH championship, integrating para athletes into the same race weekend as the standard triathlon participants.
