The Panorama-Baumwipfel-Lauf begins and ends at the sports field in Oberschwarzach, a village in Lower Franconia, Bavaria. The half marathon is distinctive as it guides runners across the Baumwipfelpfad-Steigerwald, a treetop walkway, as part of a challenging route that includes over 300 meters of elevation change.
