Unterallgäuer Triathlon

The Unterallgäuer Triathlon takes place in Ottobeuren, Bavaria, on a Saturday in late June. It is organized by TSV Ottobeuren and features two distances: a sprint with a 0.5 km swim, 20 km bike, and 5 km run, and a Triathlon M / Olympic-distance with a 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, and 10 km run. The sprint race is open to individuals and relay teams, accommodating first-time triathletes, local club racers, and groups sharing the disciplines. Approximately 320 individual sprint racers, 35 relay teams, and 200 athletes are expected for the longer distance, with the Olympic-distance already sold out. This event marks its 35th edition, reflecting a significant history.
