À propos de cette course
The virtual St.-Anna-Jedermannslauf follows the original course south of Amerdingen, starting and finishing by the chestnut tree near the Eglinger Straße sports field. Participants register online, carry a smartphone, and select their own start time within the July running period, functioning as a timed self-run rather than a conventional mass start.
The course features a mix of paved and gravel paths through woodland and open country, passing landmarks like Keltenschanze, Drei Grenzsteine, and Rennweg. The Spoferan app provides audio navigation, records checkpoints, and manages intermediate timing. This is the only LG Donau-Ries event offering participants a free second attempt to better their time. Entry fees support the Förderverein St.-Anna in their chapel preservation efforts. Awards are presented for the 10 km men's and women's races across age categories, alongside a 5.8 km jogging option. The awards ceremony takes place on Kellerberg during Annafest.
