À propos de cette course
The Carrera de la Mujer de Sevilla is a women’s running event in Seville, organized by the city’s Municipal Sports Institute and Motorpress Ibérica. It is the largest women’s athletics gathering in the province, with approximately 6,500 to 7,000 participants. The race covers 6.4 km with a 1 hour 30 minute time limit.
The route starts and finishes near Plaza de España and Paseo de las Delicias, utilizing the city’s main streets and avenues. The field includes women of all ages. The race’s “Pink Tide” provides a distinct identity beyond its distance: it promotes running and aerobic exercise, raises funds for cancer research, encourages early cancer prevention, and draws attention to gender violence and the social and educational inequalities women encounter.
