Carrera Popular Tolox

The Carrera Popular Tolox is a 5.28 km road race held in Tolox, Malaga province, each October and organized by the Tolox City Council. It begins and ends in Plaza Alta, the town’s central square, and this marks the twenty-ninth edition of the event. The route crosses the main streets of Tolox, presenting a compact town race rather than an extended point-to-point course. Local running fans form the primary spectators, with official timing provided by the Andalusian Athletics Federation. School races for younger age groups range from 300 to 1,480 meters. Prizes are awarded to the top three men and women in each category, showers are available at the municipal market, and every registered runner receives a commemorative T-shirt.
