La Desértica 2026

La Desértica is an annual desert race connected with La Legión, with approximately 7,500 participants expected at the start. It takes place in October and features several formats instead of a single race: team marches, individual marches, MTB, e-bike, and gravel categories each have separate starts. The course is designed around the desert's heat, dust, and open terrain, making endurance as crucial as speed. Organizers refer to the desert as “the beast” that participants attempt to tame, aligning with the event’s military ties and its emphasis on performance in difficult conditions.
