Pujada al Montsià begins by the Mediterranean near Alcanar, ascending from sea level to the Serra de Montsià's summit. This mountain race, set in the Terres de l’Ebre region, typically takes place in September, with registration opening in August offering early-bird discounts. The event features a main race alongside options for juniors, youth, cadets, children, a 10K, and a 15K, allowing runners, hikers, and younger participants to select a suitable distance.
The course ascends via paths and old tracks, passing Els Sant Jaumes, the Pre-Iberian site, Povet de Badoch, the Molló, and Molacima before reaching the ridge. From the Serra de Montsià's heights, participants view the Mediterranean and the Ebre Delta. The race honors the Memorial Francesc Bort, or Madro, attracts about 450 participants, and is part of the FEEC and Terres de l’Ebre mountain-running circuits.
