Triatlò Popular per Relleus 2026

Triatlò Popular per Relleus is a team relay triathlon held in Banyoles, organized by Club Natació Banyoles and its triathlon section. It is designed for three-person teams: one member swims, one cycles the mountain bike course, and one runs. Teams can register as men's, women's, mixed, or family groups, making it more accessible and communal than a typical solo triathlon. The event attracts many casual teams focused on enjoying the sport together. One year, 126 teams participated, and registration closed three weeks before the event. A donation of 1 euro per team supported the association Junts i Endavant, which fielded two teams. High temperatures can influence the race; the run was once shortened to 5 km due to heat. The finish offers a local atmosphere with a botifarra sandwich, music, and a relaxed post-race environment.
