La Vourloise 2027

La Vourloise is a March trail race held in Vourles, a village in the Rhône department of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France. Participants can choose from three distances: 12 km (La Petite Vourloise), 17 km (La Vourloise), and 24 km (La Foulée Vourloise). The event is organized by VSE, with assistance from the partner running club, La Foulée Vourloise. The routes traverse natural terrain surrounding Vourles, with the organizers as varied, playful, and occasionally challenging. The start and finish lines are located at the Vourles football and tennis sports complex, as renovation work is impacting the usual sports hall. The race tagline is “The race that makes you want more!”. A recent edition honored David Pecoraro, president of La Foulée Vourloise, and Alain Tournier, a club member who contributed to the organizing team for many years.
