À propos de cette course
Hokey Cokey Swimrun - Gribbin Head is a September swimrun held in Fowey. Competitors start and finish in the town, then race around the Fowey coastline. The event features a long course of 22.6 km, comprising approximately 17.9 km of running and 4.7 km of sea swimming across 13 stages. A shorter option is also available, with about 7.1 km of running and 3.2 km of sea swimming over 7 stages.
The route goes past Gribbin Head, combining coastal path, sand, gravel, and tarmac. Participants remain in wetsuits as they transition between land and open sea. Both distances are open to solo entrants, and the long course also permits pairs to compete. The organiser calls it an "end of season blast," catering to both experienced swimrunners and newcomers to the format.
