Priory 10K

The Priory 5K/2K is a midsummer evening run held within the grounds of Nostell Priory near Wakefield. It starts at 6pm and offers a choice of 2km or 5km distances. This event runs alongside the annual Priory 10km and is intended for younger runners, families, and adults seeking a shorter race. Organized by Ackworth Road Runners, entries are limited to 100 places, marking it as a small local event. The course is a single-lap, multi-terrain path within the priory parkland, featuring water stations and distance markers. The atmosphere is akin to a relaxed summer garden party. Race headquarters are located at the Stable Block, with free onsite parking. The stable yard cafe offers food and beverages. Children aged 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Runners aged 11 and above can participate in the 5km either with or without an adult. Only registered runners with race numbers will receive a finisher's memento.
