Skyros Sports Festival 2026

The Skyros Sports Festival is a weekend event held in early summer on the Greek island of Skyros in the Aegean. The running portion features a 21.1 km race, equivalent to a half marathon, with a three-hour limit and an evening start time that concludes before dark. The festival covers more than just road running; it also offers open water swimming and aquathlon competitions. It was established to promote sports tourism, aiming to attract runners, swimmers, and multisport athletes to Skyros at the beginning of the summer season and to establish the island on the Greek race calendar for road races, open water swims, and multisport events.
