Beside the Danube backwater at Fadd-Dombori, known as “little Balaton,” this long-running triathlon offers a summer sports weekend atmosphere rather than a demanding competition. Now in its 41st edition, the 41. Fadd-Dombori Triatlon Fesztivál combines championship racing with an invitation to amateurs, leisure athletes, health workers, returning racers, and families trying triathlon for the first time. The unique aspect is its inclusion in the Hungarian Triathlon Federation’s “Try Triathlon!” series, allowing participation without an official race license in beginner-friendly events.
