Bakony Maraton, Csesznek Félmaraton terepfutó verseny

Starting below Csesznek Castle, the Bakony Maraton enters deep forest terrain, with the XI edition feeling like a familiar local trail event. The course extends towards Vinye, then winds south through the Cuha Gorge, surrounded by spring greenery, before returning via Károlyháza and Gézaháza. The marked route primarily follows forest roads, with the gorge providing the main scenic and textural elements. The finish line is at Erzsébet Vendégház in Csesznek. The event includes a children's race, catering to more than just experienced trail runners. A traditional element is that the overall male and female winners receive the race's challenge cup for one year.
