Don Quijote Ultra & Run

The Tési windmills define the Don Quijote Ultra & Run from the start: high ground in the Eastern Bakony, with the course beginning and ending near the sails. By its sixth edition, it felt like a local trail race that embraces the terrain, where overcoming the elevation changes and the course's distinct beauty are central, not secondary. Anticipate a challenging day with significant elevation changes: across hills and valleys, through woods and open areas, even past a riding school, with the windmills marking the finish line once more. The participants range from long-distance runners to children in a dedicated race, and a community-focused aspect is present: funds from a past event supported new toys for the local kindergarten.
