Cyclists dominate here: the Veneto plain surrounding Venice is gravel and road cycling country, with L'Euganega and Marca Bianca La Notturna drawing riders into the foothills south and west toward Treviso and the Prosecco hills, where elevation gains and clay roads test endurance over 100+ km routes.
