The Tenkafubu Gifu Furyu Marathon offers a relaxed full and half marathon starting at Nagaragawa Park on Naoko Road in Gifu City, with the full marathon beginning in the morning before the half. The half marathon follows a condensed path through Gifu Park, the Mount Kinka Drive Course, Iwato Park, and the left-bank river road. As there are no road closures, runners must adhere to traffic signals, utilize sidewalks when present, and follow staff directions, with personnel stationed at complex junctions and sections lacking sidewalks. Participant accounts note aid stations, dynamic course markers, a checkpoint at the second aid station, attendees from distant locations, and a participation gift personalized with each runner’s name.
