Bieg po Plaży Jarosławiec is a 15 km cross-country race held annually in Jarosławiec on Poland’s Pomeranian coast, with its origins dating back to 1991. This international event has a participant limit of approximately 800 runners, and participants must be at least 16 years old. The race commences near Bałtycka Street by Hotel Król Plaza and concludes on Nadmorska Street in Jarosławiec.
The course leads participants from Jarosławiec towards Wicie and returns, crossing a nature path along the boundary of the Postomino and Darłowo municipalities. Runners will encounter varied terrain including village streets, asphalt, cobblestone, concrete, forest tracks, rocky beach, and sandy beach, with approximately 6 km run along the shore. As one of the longest-standing races on the Pomeranian coast, it has been recognized as a “Golden Race” by MaratonyPolskie.pl users on multiple occasions. The event has attracted top Polish athletes, Olympians, and European and World Champions, such as marathon world champion Abel Kirui.
