À propos de cette course
Dywicka is a small early-July sports event in Dywity, Poland's Warmian-Masurian region, centered on Lake Dywickie. It provides two 5 km options: a run and a Nordic Walking march. The participant limit is 250, with electronic timing, medical support, and a starter pack including a medal. The race office, start, and finish are located on the beach by the amphitheater, keeping the event focused on the lakeside.
Both distances follow the path around the lake, with the Nordic Walking route approximately 5 km and slightly more than two laps. The course is not PZLA-certified, indicating it's a local recreational race rather than a formal record-chasing event. Runners and walkers share the program, the commune mayor opens the event, and organizers include the Dywity Commune Office and the local LZS sports association. Previous editions were known as Dywicka 5-ka, with the first edition attracting nearly 200 participants.
