The Garmin MTB Series Gdynia is a mountain bike race held in Gdynia, Poland, each late June. This year's event is a single race day, a change from the previous three-stage Tricity format. Online registration is required prior to the race. It runs concurrently with the UCI MTB Eliminator World Cup as an official supporting event, combining amateur MTB racing with a prominent international competition.
The courses utilize forest trails, adhering to the series' principle: less pavement equals more enjoyment. Adult participants can select from the MAXI course (approximately 50 km), the MINI course (approximately 25 km), or the EN distance. Younger children have 200 m races, divided into balance bike categories for ages 2-3 and pedal bike categories for ages 4-5. The event caters to both competitive racers and those seeking a personal challenge on an MTB. Mud, dust, deep sand, large rocks, and steep descents are characteristic of the Garmin MTB Series. The Gdynia race is co-organized with the city and coincides with its 100th anniversary.
