À propos de cette course
Nocna Ściema Koszalin is a night race in Koszalin, Poland, timed to coincide with the switch from daylight saving to standard time. Participants can select a marathon or half marathon. The clock change means their official finish time will appear faster than the actual time spent running. This timing quirk is the event's central concept: it allows runners to "beat" their personal best on paper, earning the race its reputation as Poland’s most unusual running night.
The course takes place after dark, with lighting providing the primary atmosphere instead of urban landmarks. Following the race, Koszalin offers convenient options for extending the visit. Mielno and the Baltic Sea are approximately 15 minutes away, and some runners visit for the cold water and sea air after their night run. An alternative is Chełmska Mountain, where the observation tower provides an expansive view of the surrounding area.
