Zielonka Challenge

The Zielonka Challenge is a forest running and walking event centered in Bolechówko and Owińska, within Poland’s Wielkopolskie region. It takes place in summer within Puszcza Zielonka Landscape Park, offering distances from a 10+ km quarter marathon to a 100+ km ultramarathon. Participants can select from named routes including the 100 km Trasa Orła, 75 km Trasa Wilka, the marathon-distance Trasa Dzika, the half marathon Trasa Zająca, and the 10 km Trasa Sarny; Nordic walking is available on the shorter distances. The courses utilize forest roads and paths, distinguishing it from a city road race and aligning it more with trail running. The format is individual and linear, featuring aid stations, checkpoints, and participant caps on each route. The race office and competition hub are located at Traperska Osada in Owińska, with the finish line situated by the bathing area, providing a functional outdoor setting instead of a stadium environment.
