Mean Girls 5K, 10K & Half Marathon
SAM OCT 3
Reyes Adobe Days "RAD" 5K
DIM OCT 4
The Reyes Adobe Days “RAD” 5K is a short road race in Agoura Hills, California. The start and finish are at Whizin Market Square on Roadside Drive. It is paired with a kids’ mile, accommodating runners seeking a quick 5K and families with younger finishers. The 5K follows a flat, fast, previously certified course, suitable for pacing or aiming for a strong time. Age-group awards are presented three deep with custom medals. Kids’ mile finishers also receive custom medals, and a portion of the race proceeds benefits a designated charity.
Back to the Future: 88 MPH Dash 5K, 10K & Half
SAM OCT 17
The Back to the Future: 88 MPH Dash is a themed running event in Canoga Park, California, starting at 7:00 a.m. PST with three in-person distances: a 5K, 10K, and half marathon. Jed & Ted’s Excellent Races presents the series. Runners unable to attend in person may select a virtual option, the Multiverse Flux Capacitor Challenge. The race embraces Back to the Future and 1980s pop culture. The 5K is the 88 MPH Sprint, the 10K is the Twin Pines 10K, honoring the mall from the films, and the half marathon is the Enchantment Under the Run Half Marathon. The event acknowledges Back to the Future Day, plays 80s music, provides themed photo areas with futuristic props, and encourages period or character costumes.
Run Malibu Half Marathon
DIM NOV 8
The Malibu Half Marathon begins and ends at Zuma Beach, with the primary race situated along Malibu’s Pacific Coast Highway. This event takes place over a weekend in November in Malibu, California. The main event is a half marathon, supported by a 5K, a children's run, and a combined option for participants wishing to compete in multiple events. The half-marathon course is USATF-certified, offering runners aiming for a specific time a validated 13.1-mile route. The half marathon follows an out-and-back path, with the ocean on one side and mountains on the other, featuring a total elevation gain of 378 feet. The 5K takes place before the half marathon, starting and finishing at Zuma Beach. The children's race is a half-kilometer run for participants aged 4 to 10. All finishers receive medals. Those completing the 5K and half marathon combo earn three medals. A VIP charity half-marathon entry allocates a portion of the fee to the Boys & Girls Club of Malibu. The event promotes itself as the first PCH Malibu running event, with the weekend focused on coastal running, wellness, and community, not solely on the half-marathon participants.
Ojai Family Fund Turkey Trot 2026
JEU NOV 26
The Ojai Family Fund Turkey Trot is a 3-mile fun run at Nordhoff High School in Ojai, beginning at 8 a.m. This Thanksgiving community race allows participants to compete seriously or to jog and walk for enjoyment. The event benefits the Ojai Family Fund, supporting low-income families within the Ojai Unified School District and promoting educational equity. Costumes are encouraged, allowing for a mix of competitive runners, families, and individuals enjoying a relaxed holiday morning.
Pulp Fiction: Royale with Speed 5K, 10K & 13.1
SAM DÉC 12
Santa To The Sea 1/2 Marathon, 1/4 Marathon & 5K
SAM DÉC 12
Santa To The Sea begins its half marathon at the giant Santa along Highway 101 in Oxnard, California, sending runners toward the coast in December. The race weekend features a half marathon, quarter marathon, 5K, Kids 1K, and a separate Diaper Dash, functioning as a family event as much as a road race. The half marathon is open to runners age 11 and older, while the shorter events offer options for children and newer runners. The race originated from a toy drive marking the relocation of the world’s largest Santa Claus from Carpinteria to Oxnard. This origin remains significant: Santa To The Sea is a nonprofit event that gathers toys for underprivileged children in Ventura County and raises scholarship funds for Oxnard College students. Its scholarship program, in partnership with Gene Haas and the Oxnard College Foundation, awards $500 scholarships to local high school students and adults pursuing further education.
Jingle Bell Jog 5k/10k Run-Walk at Dos Vientos
SAM DÉC 19
The Jingle Bell Jog at Dos Vientos is a timed 5K and 10K run-walk held at Dos Vientos Community Park in Newbury Park, California. The course utilizes the streets in and around Dos Vientos. The 5K is a relatively flat route suitable for families, walkers, and runners seeking a less challenging option. The 10K presents a more demanding course, incorporating several moderate climbs. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance. All participants receive a race T-shirt and a custom 24-ounce Specialized water bottle. Parking and restrooms are available at the park. Dogs are not permitted at the event.
Mountains 2 Beach Marathon and Half
SAM AVR 17
The Mountains 2 Beach Marathon and Half begins with a straightforward concept: run from inland Ventura County to the Pacific Ocean. The full marathon starts in Ojai, at just over 700 feet above sea level, while the half marathon begins in Oak View, nearer to the coast. The race weekend also offers a 10K, Beachfront 5K, Kids 1K Fun Run, and Combo Challenge for participants aiming to run a 5K on Saturday followed by a longer distance on Sunday. Both the marathon and half are point-to-point road races, with a USATF-certified course that qualifies runners for the Boston Marathon. The marathon descends gradually toward sea level over approximately 22 miles, tracing the Ventura River Valley before concluding near the Ventura Pier and Historic Downtown Ventura. The half marathon merges from the full course's midpoint, continuing downhill to the same beachfront finish. The 10K commences near mile 20 of the marathon route, then proceeds into Downtown Ventura and along the beach. The 5K follows the bike path and promenade adjacent to San Buenaventura State Beach Park. The finish line festivities are situated near the surf, dining, and shopping areas, and the event consistently sells out months in advance. Charity partners concentrate on children's health and wellness, with volunteers staffing aid stations, road crossings, course setup, and finish-line assistance.
