La 12ème édition de la série de courses nous emmène dans les paysages de Barbour Woods et Haystack Mountain, et ça promet une expérience exigeante avec de belles vues. Ce trail offre un accès privilégié à des chemins privés pour son semi-marathon bien corsé, et il y a aussi des options qui traversent Beech Hill et longent le pont historique Killarney Bridge. Tu vas parcourir un parcours varié, avec un mix de single et double track, des chemins carrossables, et un tronçon plat sur une ancienne voie ferrée. Attends-toi à du single track bien technique qui monte jusqu'au sommet de l'emblématique Haystack Mountain Tower de Norfolk, la descente se fera sur des chemins carrossables et des zones humides comme le Swamp Trail. C'est une course sans gobelets, et même si les chiens ne sont pas autorisés sur le parcours, les finishers pourront profiter d'une part de pizza gratuite et de boissons de la Norbrook Farm Brewery.

The ORRC Best Dam Run is a point-to-point 10K in Estacada, Oregon, with separate starts for walkers and for runners or run/walkers on race morning. Participants take a bus about 6 miles east of town to the North Fork Lake start, then head back toward downtown Estacada, where the finish is located on 4th Avenue just off Broadway Street. The field is capped at 750 entrants, and the course closes at noon. The route begins at the east end of Faraday Road, follows the Clackamas River for much of its length, connects with Highway 224, and finishes near the post-race food and awards area at SE 4th Ave and Broadway. The initial 4.5 miles are on a private PGE road, and the course provides views of water, forest, geology, bald eagles, osprey, and waterfowl. It is USATF certified, with aid stations offering water and Gatorade at the start and around Mile 3. Overall awards are presented for walking and running, including open and masters divisions for male, female, and non-binary entrants.

The Ann Arbor Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day fun run and walk in Ann Arbor, Michigan, featuring a 5K and a non-timed Tot Trot 1K. The 5K is chip-timed, provides official results and award eligibility, and is suitable for families as well as runners aiming for a specific time. The 1K offers younger children their own short race, ensuring the morning is inclusive for all ages and running abilities.
