Rendez-vous pour le KEYS 33rd Annual 5K Run/Walk un dimanche matin d'automne à Kewaskum, Wisconsin. Le départ est donné à 11h00 depuis le 1510 Bilgo Lane. C'est un 5K sans chichis, ouvert aux coureurs comme aux marcheurs. Tu pourras récupérer ton dossard en amont, devant Kewaskum High School. L'inscription est à 25 $. Cette course est organisée au profit de KEYS, Inc., une association à but non lucratif fondée en 1985 pour offrir des bourses aux diplômés de Kewaskum High School. Au programme : un échauffement Gaining Grit, des annonces, l'hymne national et la remise des prix à 12h15. Attention, il faut être présent pour récupérer ta médaille ! On verra des participants de tout âge, des jeunes enfants aux adultes plus âgés, avec des médailles par catégorie d'âge, des 4-7 ans jusqu'aux plus de 70 ans. Des primes en espèces seront aussi distribuées aux premiers hommes et femmes au scratch. Si tu bats un nouveau record du parcours, tu seras récompensé de 200 $. Les records actuels sont de 17:58 chez les femmes et 15:22 chez les hommes. Après la course, les stands du Kewaskum Booster Club seront là pour soutenir les étudiants de KHS.
