Bodies Race Company presents this event as part of its Holiday Series, designed for runners aiming for a personal best and families seeking a costume-welcoming fall activity. The longer races use chip timing with live results, while the 1-mile and kids' dash offer a relaxed pace. The half marathon begins in the morning, following park roads shaded by trees and paved trails around Maple Beach. The course has a fast, gently rolling terrain, avoiding steep hills. Costumes are welcome, and finishers will receive Halloween treats. Early registrants get race merchandise, including a custom bib, a designer shirt, and a medal. The kids' dash is open to children aged 10 and under, with a free option that does not include merchandise. Youth pricing is available for the 5K and 10K, making the shorter distances more accessible for families.

The Frightful 5K and Pumpkin 1K begin at the Troy Community Center, located at 3179 Livernois Road in Troy, Michigan, during the Halloween season. The City of Troy hosts the event, offering an 8:30 am 5K for runners and walkers, followed by a 9:30 am Pumpkin 1K family fun run for children and their families. The 5K follows a USATF-certified route that departs the Community Center, proceeds along Big Beaver, and concludes with a loop around the Troy Civic Campus. Costumes are encouraged, with participants invited to wear spooky, scary, or humorous attire, blending a timed road race with a local Halloween tradition.

La course en présentiel démarre et finit à la Riverwalk, et les fonds récoltés vont à PACE Southeast Michigan, une orga qui aide les seniors à rester autonomes et en sécurité chez eux et dans leur quartier. Le parcours, chronométré, est un aller-retour le long de la riverwalk, et il passe par Milliken State Park. Un ravito est mis en place au demi-tour, à environ 1 mile du départ. Les coureurs partent avant les marcheurs, qui eux s'élancent quelques minutes après ; les inscriptions tardives ne sont pas acceptées. Tous ceux qui finissent auront une médaille. Des prix sont donnés aux premiers hommes et femmes au scratch, ainsi qu'aux meilleurs de chaque catégorie d'âge. C'est la cinquième édition de l'événement. Les animaux ne sont pas autorisés sur le parcours, et la course aura lieu peu importe la météo.

La Skyline Donut Dash, c'est déjà la quatrième édition cette année ! C'est un 5K course et marche, avec aussi un 1 Mile Fun Run, qui se passe à la Skyline High School à Ann Arbor, Michigan. Les bénéfices vont aux sections sportives de la Skyline High School. L'événement est pensé pour les coureurs, les marcheurs et les familles, avec le Fun Run pour les jeunes qui démarre avant le 5K. Le mile est pour les enfants de 12 ans et moins, tandis que le 5K est ouvert à tout le monde, et les poussettes sont autorisées sur le parcours du 5K. Le parcours du 5K traverse le campus de Skyline et les quartiers juste à côté, avec quelques changements de dénivelé. Le Fun Run, lui, se déroule sur la piste de Skyline, avec des membres de l'équipe de Skyline Cross Country qui donnent le rythme pour une course guidée pour les plus jeunes.
