À propos de cette course
11 Miles to Paradise is a 10.6-mile point-to-point trail race near Paradise, Montana, held in early October. It begins in Lolo National Forest and follows the Clark Fork River to the Ferry Landing Fishing Access Site on State Route 135, a few miles from Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort. Runner’s Edge organizes the event, which starts in the morning. Runners are bused to the start point instead of returning to their parking location.
The initial mile crosses an old two-track forest service road before the path narrows to rolling single-track. The trail proceeds alongside the river, curves through small drainages, and contours across wooded hillsides. While the course descends overall, short ascents punctuate the downhill sections. Post-race, participants receive snacks, a finisher medal or award, and shuttle service to Quinn’s Hot Springs Resort. There, they can find food, beverages, hot-pool soaking, and optional massage. Dogs are prohibited due to trail, shuttle, and hot-springs regulations.
