8 Hours of Brown County 2026

The 8 Hours of Brown County offers runners a set time period within Brown County State Park, rather than a specific distance to complete. The Indiana Trail Running Association organizes this annual 8-hour trail race, held from morning until late afternoon in June. Participants can register for the race only or include a camping option, with a discount available at checkout for ITRA members. The primary course covers approximately 6 miles of singletrack trail, supplemented by a shorter, rugged loop of about 3 miles. The start and finish are located near the Recreation Center by Rally Camp 1, which also serves as the Friday evening gathering spot for food, drinks, and socializing.
