City Park Classic (5k/10k & 1 Mile Walk of Hope for Pancreatic Cancer Research)

The City Park Classic is a Denver race held at City Park, starting at 2001 Steele St. It features a 5k run/walk, a 10k run, and an untimed 1-mile Walk of Hope. The 5k and 10k begin simultaneously at 9:00 AM MST, with the walk commencing ten minutes later. This event aligns with Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month in November, dedicating the morning to both competition and fundraising. The format is straightforward: participants select either the 5k run/walk or the 10k. Walkers can opt for the relaxed 1-mile path, directly supporting the cancer research initiative. Medals manufactured in the USA are awarded to all 5k and 10k finishers. Proceeds benefit Pancreatic Cancer Research at the CU Division of Surgical Oncology in Colorado.
