FALL Run The Farm

FALL Run The Farm is a late-October trail race at Muscoot Farm in Katonah/Somers, New York. The main event is a 5-mile run on farm-park trails, and the morning also includes two Kids Run The Farm races: one for ages 7 to 12 and one for children 6 and under. The kids races go first, followed by the 5-miler, so the event is built for trail runners and trail-runner parents rather than just adult racers. The race was created to bring people onto the Muscoot park grounds and point more locals toward the Muscoot Farmer's Market, which runs on Sundays from May through November. The fall race has already passed a dozen runnings, giving it the feel of a small local tradition rather than a one-off farm fundraiser.
