À propos de cette course
The Farm-Fit Challenge is a short obstacle course held at Heim’s Hillcrest Dairy, a working farm in Algoma, Wisconsin. Rather than typical mud pits or walls, the route incorporates farm tasks as obstacles: feeding calves, flipping tires, moving hoses, carrying gates, and climbing hay bales. The course measures approximately 1.5 miles and is designed for various fitness levels, not exclusively for seasoned obstacle racers.
The location is significant as participants navigate an active dairy farm, which also accounts for the safety regulation prohibiting young children on the course. Post-race, participants may visit a yogurt bar, participate in a door prize drawing, and take an optional guided farm tour to understand dairy operations. Families can also attend Heim’s Moo-tober Fest later, linking the race day's physical activity with a larger farm gathering.
