Gallop & Gorge 8K

The Gallop & Gorge 8K is a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot held in Carrboro, North Carolina. It begins at 8 a.m. on Weaver Street in the downtown area. The race covers 8K (4.97 miles), offering a pre-feast run before the holiday activities commence. The course winds through Carrboro neighborhoods, avoiding remote roads. It also raises funds for local charities, maintains a low entry fee, and concludes the 20-year Le Tour de Carrboro series.
