Give NCW Turkey Trot

The Give NCW Turkey Trot begins Thanksgiving morning at Pybus Public Market in Wenatchee, Washington. A kids race is held first, followed by a timed 10K, and then a timed 5K. This holiday run is tied to the Community Foundation of North Central Washington and opens the annual Give NCW online giving campaign. Children can run a short untimed course without charge, while adults and older participants select between the 5K and 10K. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted, attracting families, casual walkers, runners, and people with pets. The 5K and 10K follow the Apple Capital Loop Trail along the Wenatchee riverfront, beginning near Pybus Public Market and extending beside the Columbia River area. The kids race takes place near the market on a shorter course. Proceeds benefit nonprofits involved with Give NCW, providing the event a local fundraising purpose beyond holiday exercise. Registration occurs before race day. Pybus Market is closed on Thanksgiving, so the morning focuses on the races, volunteers, and the gathering crowd outside by the trail.
