Griffith Park Resolution Run 2027

The Griffith Park Resolution Run is a January trail race in Los Angeles, taking place within Griffith Park as a New Year running event. Participants can select from a 5K, 12K, half marathon, or 15K relay, accommodating short-distance runners, longer-distance runners, and teams. The event is mid-sized, typically attracting 500 to 1,000 participants, distinct from a large city race. The course options are all situated within one of L.A.'s most frequented park areas, featuring chip timing for results and packet pickup available the day before race morning. All finishers receive a custom medal, custom bib, and a downloadable finisher certificate; shirts are distributed while supplies last. The finish area offers music, water, snacks, and on-site sports massage from Vision For Enrichment. The first 500 registrants also receive a collapsible running cup.
