Le Harper Creek Optimist Elementary Run, c'est une course d'un mile pour les élèves de la 2e à la 5e année. Ça se passe sur le campus de Harper Creek à Battle Creek, Michigan. C'est ouvert aux 7-11 ans, le départ est donné en début de soirée, et c'est le Harper Creek Optimist Club qui organise ça.
Le parcours passe par des terrains d'entraînement et traverse des bois, avec de l'herbe, des chemins de terre et quelques petites bosses. L'inscription est à $20, et les 15 premiers reçoivent des médailles.
