Haunted 5K, 10K, & 13.1M at Rocky Mount, NC (40) 2026

The Haunted 5K, 10K, & 13.1M is a Halloween-season running event in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. All three races start at 8:30 AM from 799 Pennsylvania Avenue. Participants can select a 5K, 10K, or half marathon. Each distance follows a repeated out-and-back format. Registration is exclusively through RunSignup; no on-site sign-ups are available. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the start and concludes 10 minutes prior. The 5K and 10K use a 1.56-mile out-and-back loop, with 5K runners completing it twice and 10K runners completing it four times. The half marathon utilizes a 2.18-mile out-and-back loop, repeated six times. This course design is straightforward but can become mentally repetitive. All distances have a 3-hour, 30-minute time limit, emphasizing pacing more for half marathoners than for shorter race participants.
