À propos de cette course
MammothMarch Minnesota is a 20-mile hiking challenge in St. Croix State Park near Hinckley, under 90 minutes from Minneapolis. It takes place in fall, with participants allotted 8 hours to finish. It is not a timed race; there is no ranking, no official failure, and every finisher receives a medal.
The route is contained within Minnesota’s largest state park, a 34,000-acre National Historic Landmark along the St. Croix River. Hikers begin in small waves, with no more than five people departing together. Aid stations, positioned every 5 to 7 miles, offer toilets, water, electrolytes, snacks, fruit, bars, and PBJ sandwiches. The event attracts hikers, nature lovers, wildlife watchers, and individuals seeking a long outdoor challenge without the pressure of a stopwatch; its initial Minnesota edition sold out.
