À propos de cette course
Many Lite is a fall trail run and hike in Letchworth State Park in western New York. Both options use the same roughly 20.5-mile route. The park is known as the Grand Canyon of the East, and the course utilizes its features: gorge trails, park roads, waterfalls, overlooks, stream crossings, and autumn foliage. The runner field is capped at 200, and the hiking option is capped at 100, making it a limited-entry trail event rather than a large mass race. #TrailsRoc and Rochester Running Company organize the event collaboratively.
The route begins at the Parade Grounds entrance and concludes at the High Banks recreation area and lodge. A shuttle will transport runners from the finish area to the start before the race. Two aid stations are located around mile 6 and mile 15. Cutoffs are in place to keep the day moving: the first 6 miles must be completed within 2.5 hours, aid station two must be cleared by approximately 5.5 hours, and the official finish limit is 8 hours. Runners and hikers will pass locations like Wolf Creek and the Silver Creek outlet. Organizers may reroute the course if stream crossings have high water levels. The event includes a finisher shirt for early registrants and a Fall Festival Food celebration with food, drinks, and snacks at the finish.
