The 46th Montana Marathon is one of the fastest and most scenic in the region, a favorite for runners chasing personal bests or a Boston Qualifier. Starting high on rolling plains, the route offers a gradual downhill descent with a 1,000-foot net drop. You'll see wide-open skies, mountain views, and the beauty of Big Sky Country, with energy building as you approach the finish. The course features rolling green hills early on, then a significant loss of vertical feet. Walkers are not permitted to start early.
