Neck of the Woods Adventure Race

The Neck of the Woods Adventure Race begins at Hopewell High School in the early morning. Racers receive their briefing before a 7:30 AM start. This is a five-hour adventure race focused on biking, trekking, and map-and-checkpoint navigation. Solo racers and teams of up to four will compete on the same course. The route is not a fixed line from start to finish; checkpoints are distributed across the race area, and each team decides how to link them. More competitive teams can aim for every possible point, while others can prioritize the mandatory checkpoints and still complete the race. Racers must bring a bike, helmet, blinking light, navigation gear, and sufficient food and drink for the full time limit.
