North Creek Explorer 5K Run/Walk

The North Creek Explorer 5K Run/Walk is a Saturday evening race in Coconut Creek, beginning at 5 PM and open to runners and walkers. This community fundraiser benefits the Coconut Creek Police Department Explorer Program, featuring live music, food, and an opportunity for residents to interact with local police officers. The event, held for many years, includes an awards ceremony for the top overall male and female runners, age-group winners, and first responders. The first 175 finishers will receive medals, all participants get a swag bag, and proceeds support students ages 14 to 18 with costs for uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions, and supplies related to law enforcement career training.
