Reindeer Run

The Reindeer Run is a family-oriented, pet-friendly 5k run/walk in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The annual race has been held for over thirty years, and its field has grown from a few hundred participants to more than 3,500 runners. Runners and walkers share the downtown course, with families and dogs integrated into the event. The race includes a costume contest, and proceeds benefit MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital, a downtown Charleston hospital with an expanded neonatal intensive care unit, a floor for children with cancer, and South Carolina’s most comprehensive pediatric heart center.
